Basketball Recap: Neches Takes a Loss

Neches was the 39-28 winner over Mount Calm when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Neches Tigers took a 46-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mount Calm on Tuesday. The Tigers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Neches now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Mount Calm, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Neches will square off against Penelope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neches is facing Penelope at the right time seeing as Penelope is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mount Calm, they will challenge Oakwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
