Baseball Recap: Randolph County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Randolph County can now relate to. They lost 19-2 to the Vinemont Eagles on Friday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 7-4.

Randolph County's loss dropped their record down to 9-19. As for Vinemont, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season.

While Randolph County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
