Basketball Game Preview: Creighton Bulldogs vs. Crofton Warriors

The Creighton Bulldogs will challenge the Crofton Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Creighton will head into Tuesday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 69-29 defeat at the hands of Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-17.

Meanwhile, Crofton scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They were outmatched by Battle Creek and fell 93-64. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Creighton will have to contain Trevor Allen as he made an impact in Crofton's last game. He posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Jace Panning, who earned 11 points.

Crofton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Creighton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Creighton won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in December of 2020, slipping by Crofton 54-53. Will Creighton repeat their success, or does Crofton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
