Basketball Game Preview: Chillicothe Cavaliers vs. Hillsboro Indians

Chillicothe hasn't had much luck against Hillsboro recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Chillicothe Cavaliers are taking a road trip to square off against the Hillsboro Indians at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Chillicothe turned things around against Greenup County on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-43 victory over the Musketeers.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro earned a 64-55 win over Lynchburg-Clay on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Chillicothe's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Hillsboro, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Chillicothe didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Hillsboro in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 62-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chillicothe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
