Gilbert typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Ballard proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Bombers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ballard was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-19.

Ballard's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Gilbert, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.
