Basketball Recap: South Park's Win Ends 14-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sanford, South Park was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers as the South Park Burros made off with a 47-27 victory. The Burros' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Cripple Creek-Victor lost, don't look at Chase Lohmeier. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points.

South Park's win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

South Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-22 defeat against Custer County on the 31st. Cripple Creek-Victor has also already played their next match, a 38-29 loss against Centennial on the 29th.
