Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss

Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 62-44 bruising from the Fort Madison Bloodhounds. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-37 back in December of 2024.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fort Madison, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Mt. Pleasant has already played their next contest (against Mid-Prairie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Fort Madison will take on Clark County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Madison knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Clark County likes a good challenge.
