After losing to Rockford East the last time they met, Lake Forest decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Scouts came out on top against the E-Rabs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Scouts.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22.

Lake Forest's victory bumped their record up to 8-24. As for Rockford East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lake Forest and Rockford East will both be playing Grayslake North the next time they take the court. The Scouts will host the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the E-Rabs will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
