Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Benton's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Benton won the last time they faced Hot Springs and Rylynn Poor did her part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans on Tuesday with plenty of help from Poor, who had 21 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Benton never let Hot Springs on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-20.

Benton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Hot Springs, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

Benton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Conway on the 23rd. As for Hot Springs, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Farmington on the 27th.
