Baseball Recap: Viewmont Falls Short of Murray in the Playoffs

Viewmont and Murray squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Viewmont had to settle for second. They lost 9-1 to the Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since March 26th.

Viewmont saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Boston Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

The defeat snapped Viewmont's winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 18-10 record. As for Murray, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season.
