Baseball Recap: Pac-Five Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Pac-Five and Kamehameha Kapalama, and Kamehameha Kapalama kept the tradition alive. The Pac-Five Wolfpack fell just short of the Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolfpack of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Pac-Five saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Gallano, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Pac-Five's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Kamehameha Kapalama, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pac-Five will face off against Maryknoll at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kamehameha Kapalama, they will take on 'Iolani at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
