Basketball Recap: Beaver Dam Comes Up Short

Beaver Dam lost against Waunakee back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Beaver Dam Golden Beavers received a blow as they fell 77-61 to the Waunakee Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Golden Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Warriors are ranked 11th).

This is the second loss in a row for Beaver Dam and nudges their season record down to 10-10. As for Waunakee, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Looking ahead, Beaver Dam will host DeForest at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waunakee, they will venture away from home to challenge Fort Atkinson at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
