Volleyball Recap: Grapeland Comes Up Short

Grapeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Grand Saline Indians. If the Sandies were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Indians when the teams met back in August of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Grapeland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grand Saline, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Grapeland will face off against Rice on Friday. As for Grand Saline, they will be playing at home against Palmer at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
