Softball Game Preview: Richmond Hill Lions vs. Rustin

Richmond Hill has won five straight games at home, while Rustin has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Lions will welcome Rustin at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Richmond Hill's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last eight matches.

Richmond Hill proved they can win big last Friday (they won by nine) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past Gompers 16-15.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Rustin sidestepped Monroe Campus for a 4-3 victory.

Richmond Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.8 runs over those games. As for Rustin, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
