Volleyball Recap: Druid Hills Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Druid Hills entered their tilt with Tucker on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Druid Hills' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sydney Patterson, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Patterson has posted since back in October of 2024. Kassidy Manning was another key player, getting three digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Druid Hills was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

Druid Hills' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Tucker, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Druid Hills has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lakeside on the 9th. As for Tucker, they will welcome Stephenson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
