Soccer Recap: Greenwood Takes a Loss

Greenwood came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Dixon Bulldogs. Greenwood were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dixon apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Greenwood's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Dixon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood will square off against Parkview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dixon, they will take on Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
