Smith County is a perfect 9-0 against York Institute since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Smith County Owls will take on the York Institute Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Smith County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Smith County lost 6-1 to Wilson Central on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Owls were already down 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Jarrain Smith, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, York Institute was forced to settle for a draw. They and Livingston Academy finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

York Institute used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Livingston Academy. And. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Tucker Beaty put up one assist, while he scored a goal.

York Institute's draw makes their record 1-2-1 this season. As for Smith County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Smith County came out on top in a nail-biter against York Institute in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will Smith County repeat their success, or does York Institute have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
