Basketball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Knob Noster Panthers, falling 59-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Minutemen have suffered since December 5, 2024.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Knob Noster, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 11-8.

Lexington will head out to challenge St. Paul Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Knob Noster, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Knob Noster Panthers duke it out with the Pilot Grove Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
