Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oliver Ames). They walked away with a 10-6 win over the North Attleborough Rocketeers on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Tigers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Oliver Ames' victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7. As for North Attleborough, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oliver Ames will square off against Milford at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Scarlet Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North Attleborough, they will head out on the road to square off against Attleboro at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rocketeers 3.2, the Bombardiers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
