After a string of three wins, Hilmar's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 62-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patterson Tigers. The matchup marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hilmar's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Quintero, who posted nine points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Solorio, who put up ten points.

Hilmar's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Patterson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.
