Mineral Wells won against Glen Rose last Tuesday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Mineral Wells narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Glen Rose 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mineral Wells' win bumped their record up to 11-9-2. As for Glen Rose, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral Wells will take on Springtown at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Glen Rose, they will face off against Joshua at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Joshua will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Glen Rose surely won't give up without a fight.
