Softball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside lost against Northside - Pinetown last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Southside came up short against Northside - Pinetown, falling 15-3. The Seahawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lily McLean made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. She has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last six times she's played.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Northside - Pinetown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Southside has already played their next match, a 7-1 loss against North East Carolina Prep on the 24th. As for Northside - Pinetown, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-7 win against Richmond on the 21st.
