Master's Academy owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Gateway Charter Griffins. The Patriots are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Master's Academy's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Colton Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Master's Academy pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Gateway Charter, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Master's Academy will challenge St. Edward's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Edward's is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season. As for Gateway Charter, they will square off against Estero at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
