Baseball Game Preview: Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks vs. Kennedy Eagles

Robbinsdale Cooper hasn't had much luck against Kennedy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Hawks will welcome the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Robbinsdale Cooper lost 11-3 to DeLaSalle on Friday. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Robbinsdale Cooper saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Gerding, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Kennedy didn't have quite enough to beat Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha on Friday and fell 6-5. The Eagles have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Kennedy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Robbinsdale Cooper couldn't quite get it done against Kennedy when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-2. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
