Baseball Recap: Everglades Victorious

Everglades owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Miami Stingarees 1-0.

Alex Ramirez was excellent, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 1-for-2.

Everglades' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Miami, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everglades will host Ferguson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miami, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Carol City at 3:30 p.m.
