Palestine had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They never let the Diboll Lumberjacks get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Diboll from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Ismael Gonzales led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Palestine pushed their record up to 18-3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Diboll, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Palestine and Diboll will both be playing Madisonville the next time they take the pitch. Diboll will host Madisonville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Palestine will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on March 17th.
