Baseball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was the 5-1 winner over Niles West when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Giants fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Highland Park's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 22-6-1. As for Niles West, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-15.

While Highland Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
