Preview: Ottawa Pirates vs. Plainfield Central Wildcats
The Ottawa Pirates will be playing at home against the Plainfield Central Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Ottawa lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on last Friday was a bit more commanding. 2024 welcomed they with a 53-29 loss courtesy of LaSalle-Peru. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Ottawa has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Plainfield Central's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They skirted past Rockford East 64-62. The victory was just what Plainfield Central needed coming off of a 68-29 loss in their prior contest.
This is the second loss in a row for Ottawa and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for Plainfield Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.
