There's no place like home for Fairfield Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-25 win over the Miller Falcons on Friday. The Knights' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Fairfield Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as TJ Blair gained 140 total yards and four touchdowns and Brayden Stem threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes. Blair's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 136 receiving yards.

Despite the loss, Miller still got an impressive performance from Zander Bice, who rushed for 146 yards and one score while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Bice also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending one pass. Miller also got help from Nick Thompson, who showed off his sure hands for 100 receiving yards.

With the victory, Fairfield Christian Academy broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Miller, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
