Basketball Recap: Payton College Prep Takes a Loss

Payton College Prep's tournament run continued when they took on Shepard on Saturday. The Payton College Prep Grizzlies took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shepard Astros.

Payton College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Shepard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Payton College Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northside at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Shepard, they are taking a road trip to square off against Agricultural Science at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
