Baseball Recap: C.A. Johnson Comes Up Short

C.A. Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 7-1 to the Great Falls Red Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Hornets have lost by exactly six runs.

C.A. Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Great Falls, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. C.A. Johnson will head out to take on Eau Claire at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Great Falls, they are taking a road trip to face off against Westminster Catawba Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Great Falls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
