Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Takes a Loss

Goodman-Pembine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Phelps Knights. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Goodman-Pembine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Phelps, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.

Goodman-Pembine and Phelps could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 313th) will meet Wabeno/Laona (ranked 90th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Phelps will face off against Three Lakes on the 20th with a big rank disadvantage (338 vs. 99).
