Basketball Game Preview: New Smyrna Beach Barracudas vs. Deltona Wolves

Having just played yesterday, the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas will head out on the road to face off against the Deltona Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Deltona took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on New Smyrna Beach, who comes in off a win.

New Smyrna Beach saw some tournament action on Monday. They snuck past DME Academy Gold with a 50-45 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Barracudas.

Meanwhile, Deltona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to Matanzas on the road by a 64-48 margin.

Deltona's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for New Smyrna Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

New Smyrna Beach was able to grind out a solid win over Deltona when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 78-69. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Smyrna Beach since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
