Volleyball Recap: Northridge Vikings vs. Centerburg Trojans
There's no place like home for Northridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Centerburg Trojans 3-2. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
McKenna Ellis paced Northridge's offense, picking up 16 kills. Ellis got some help from Abigail Sharpe and her 24 assists. Sharpe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
Despite the loss, Centerburg still got an impressive performance from Molly Kain, who had 27 digs and three aces. Kain has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kami Turnbull, who had ten digs.
Northridge's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Centerburg, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 17-6.

The Golden Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Centerburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
