Softball Preview: Antonian Prep Apaches vs. Eagle Pass Eagles
Antonian Prep and Eagle Pass are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2017, but likely not for long. The Apaches will challenge the Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Eagle Pass will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Antonian Prep extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday. The Apaches blew past MacArthur 18-6. That's two games straight that the Apaches have won by exactly 12 runs.
Analisa Guerrero made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Antonian Prep let Isabella Garza and Trinity Silva run wild. Garza went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Silva went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits Garza has posted over her last 11 matchups.
