Basketball Recap: Atrisco Heritage Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Atrisco Heritage Academy came into Friday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 48-36 win over the Los Lunas Tigers on Friday. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Tigers are ranked 65th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Atrisco Heritage Academy now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Los Lunas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Atrisco Heritage Academy will be playing at home against Rio Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Los Lunas, they will head out on the road to square off against Albuquerque at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
