Basketball Game Preview: Lower Brule Sioux vs. Faulkton Trojans

The Lower Brule Sioux will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Faulkton Trojans at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Lower Brule is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since February 17th on Saturday. They lost 66-41 to St. George's. The contest marked the Sioux's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Faulkton came up short against Florence/Henry last Friday and fell 59-49.

Lower Brule's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Faulkton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Lower Brule strolled past Faulkton in their previous meeting back in March of 2020 by a score of 77-62. Will Lower Brule repeat their success, or does Faulkton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
