On the mound, he struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). Combs was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Waverly got a massive performance out of Jackson Gomez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Iggy Arroyo was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
