The Terre Haute South Vigo Braves will head out to square off against the McCutcheon Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McCutcheon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Terre Haute South Vigo, who comes in off a win.

Terre Haute South Vigo gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 37-26 victory over Northview. Terre Haute South Vigo's win was all the more impressive since the Knights were averaging only 10.67 points allowed on the season.

Maddox Woodcock had a dynamite game, rushing for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Even if they lost, McCutcheon's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jayden Marshall. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.

Terre Haute South Vigo's record is now 4-2. As for McCutcheon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Terre Haute South Vigo has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 161 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like McCutcheon struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 194.5 rushing yards.
