Volleyball Recap: Queen's Grant Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Queen's Grant can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the South Stokes Sauras on Saturday. The Stallions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Queen's Grant took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-19.

South Stokes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ellie White, who had eight digs and three aces. White is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Queen's Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for South Stokes, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6.

Queen's Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Stokes, they will challenge Bishop McGuinness at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
