Volleyball Game Preview: Zephyrhills Bulldogs vs. Hillsborough Terriers

The Zephyrhills Bulldogs will challenge the Hillsborough Terriers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Zephyrhills came up short against Pasco and fell 3-1. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Pirates 25-16 in the first set.

Zephyrhills started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Hillsborough had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Middleton 3-0 on Wednesday. The Terriers not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Hillsborough's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-12.

Zephyrhills has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Hillsborough, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
