Soccer Recap: Bear River Comes Up Short

Bear River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Oakmont Vikings, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bruins have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Luke Wall, which was the first he's scored this season.

Bear River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Oakmont, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-4.

Bear River will take on Mira Loma at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mira Loma is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season. As for Oakmont, they will face off against Marysville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
