Baseball Recap: Comanche Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Comanche finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Millsap Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 8-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Caden Buford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

The defeat snapped Comanche's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-8 record. As for Millsap, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-9.

While Comanche had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
