Preview: Reynolds Raiders vs. North East Grape Pickers
The Reynolds Raiders will look to defend their home field on Friday against the North East Grape Pickers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Reynolds fell victim to Lakeview's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Sailors on the road and fell 37-0. Having soared to a lofty 37 points in the game before, Reynolds couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, North East's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 28-14 bruising from Fairview.
Reynolds now has a losing record at 4-5. As for North East, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
Reynolds didn't have too much breathing room in their game against North East when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 26-20 win. Will Reynolds repeat their success, or does North East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
