Recap: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Anthony Wayne Generals
On Friday, Madison had to suffer through a rough 60-32 loss at the hands of Anthony Wayne. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Madison has scored all season.
Madison's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Tomco, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was JP Dragas, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Anthony Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
Madison won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Oak Harbor at 4:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023. One thing working in Oak Harbor's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups. As for Anthony Wayne, they will be playing at home against Bowling Green at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
