Baseball Recap: Wolfson Gets the Win

After losing to Atlantic Coast the last time they met, Wolfson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolfpack walked away with an 8-3 win over the Stingrays on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

Nick Fischer was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydin Morrissey, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

The victory got Wolfson back to even at 10-10. As for Atlantic Coast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Coming up, Wolfson will challenge Stanton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolfpack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Atlantic Coast, they will face off against Oakleaf at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
