Sunnyside won the last time they faced Orosi and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Sunnyside Wildcats' way against the Orosi Cardinals as the Sunnyside Wildcats made off with a 3-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Orosi with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sergio Quevedo, Andrew Iraheta, and Ricardo Perez.

The victory made it two in a row for Sunnyside and bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Orosi, they dropped their record down to 1-9-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunnyside will take on Mendota in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Sunnyside's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Mendota's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Orosi, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Woodlake at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Woodlake will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Orosi surely won't give up without a fight.
