Turtle Lake came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Solon Springs Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lakers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Turtle Lake found their leader in sophomore Destiney Osumi, who had seven digs and four aces.

Turtle Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive contests.

Turtle Lake's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Solon Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Turtle Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Baldwin-Woodville on the 27th. As for Solon Springs, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Drummond on the 29th.
