Flag Football Recap: Kendrick Comes Up Short

Kendrick kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between the Cherokees and the Northside Patriots didn't end well, with the Cherokees falling 14-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Northside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sania Morgan, who picked up 54 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 39 yards.

Northside's record now sits at 3-1.

Kendrick has already played their next game, a 50-0 victory against Stewart County on the 21st. As for Northside, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-0 win against Hardaway on the 21st.
