Basketball Game Preview: Eastland Cougars vs. Rock Falls Rockets

The Eastland Cougars will challenge the Rock Falls Rockets at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Eastland's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Rock Falls has been banged up by 11 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Eastland was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 36-35 to Seneca. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Rock Falls had to suffer through a 57-27 loss at the hands of Dixon.

Rock Falls' loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Eastland, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-15.
